Reduced size Texas CHL target

With several recent threads discussing DPS' new CHL target (actually the old B-27), I figure that some folks may also have interest in the following.

When I recently ordered a batch of (green) B-27s from Law Enforcement Targets, I also bought some of their reduced-size B-29 targets. They are virtually identical to the B-27 in terms of shape and scoring rings, but only about 44% the size. They are of course less expensive for practice purposes and fit nicely on single electric target carriers.

For the sake of simplicity, at 7 yards the B-29 targets virtually duplicate the sight picture of the B-27s at 15 yards. And make it easier for those of us with 50+ year-old eyes to be able to more quickly see the similarly-located bullet holes.

I got some too.
I think they are kind of cute!

Good for 3 yard workups too.

I was kinda surprised at the physical size of those B-27's...

I bought about 10 of the orange colored targets this last weekend...

I put it beside the old "Blue Man" CHL target...

All I see is a high score area that is designed to bring the COM shots slighty down some from the older target...

Head shots are only 3 points, where they used to be 5...

Thats ok...I believe this is a good thing...In some regards...
