GLOCK MAGAZINE PRICE INCREASE
Glock raised prices on their magazines by about 40% last week. A wise gun owner should have a minimum of 4 normal capacity factory magazines for each handgun. Those that own high capacity guns that are not Glocks may want to consider purchasing spare magazines now before other manufacturers follow suit and raise their prices also. Glock's announcement has already caused panic buying and many online retailers are currently sold out and taking backorders.

I have not heard anything otherwise and just checked the prices at Midway & Brownells. Their prices were $29.99 and $24.97 respectively. It's been awhile since I've bought magazines for my Glock, but these prices to seem a lot higher than in the past.

Did I miss an opportunity to stock up?

I bought two last week (G36) for $22.00 each. That was probably the new price, but I am not sure.

I grabbed 2 at the show last weekend for my G17, 17rnd for 15$ each, and they were new in peg holder package

OMB Express went up by $2 on April 15th, which is supposedly when Glock raised their prices.

I've seen prices up by 25-35% recently, so I contacted a dealer who I "know" from another board. He said after Glock has raised their prices on mags only by about $0.50 over the last 5 years or so, they jumped by $5.00 in the last month. Those $15 - $18 mags are now running $20 - $30. I haven't been to a gun show or looked into police supplies, but the best prices I'm finding online for new Glock mags right now are about $21.95, and most places are charging $24.95 or higher. I wish I had the funds a month or two ago to stock up on mags. I was hoping to buy some extras this month or next; now I might not be able to buy as many as I wanted.

Keep in mind that the price increase just brings us inline with what XD, S&W and Sig folks have been paying all along......

I was just waiting to purchase 2 additional mags for my G19 when my Ruger LCP was in stock. It appears I was a little late anyway. Grin and bear it.

The sigs were not factory, they were mec-gar

Check CDNN. Their factory mags are still $18.99 or less.

Another thanks for the tip. To get the free shipping it took ordering 6 more for my 19. I sent the link to another 6 or so friends who might want to pony up for more over the weekend.

Yep, they went up on average $5-$7 in the last week or two. Luckily I bought 12 of them for $13.80 each with free shipping from Botach Tactical a week before the price increase.
