This morning status was "application being processed" but just now I check again and it is now "No application or license/certificate active." If this is the case it looks like I will be picking up a new handgun by the end of the week.

It's certainly possible that you've seen two conflicting messages. At one point when I checked my status, it read, "Moved to Mars, left no forwarding address." Seriously, it can happen, but try again. You may have inadvertently hit the "Instructor" button instead of the CHL button. It's happened many times!

You are right. Got my hopes up too easy.

After I looked at my status, it said the same thing, "Processing Application" a week later it was different, thought I had been rejected. But I think now they were just closing out the file, few days later my plastic came in the mail.

If im not mistaken, you will get that message if you type in the wrong info. Make sure you didnt enter something wrong.
