It depends on your build and your clothing. On the weekend I carry a full size pistol in a good IWB under an untucked camp shirt.

Does a full size 1911 count? There are many on this board carrying one of those.

Get a good holser, and it's not much of a problem. IWB will help with length if that's a concern.

Also, the CZ 75 compact is a very nice pistol if you decide you need something smaller. 14 round capacity and very good feel in the hand.

Sure, a full size 1911 is comparable to a full size CZ in terms of carryability. I just feel so confident with CZ 75b that I really want it to be my carry piece. I hear a lot of good things about the "summer special" style IWB holsters (there are tons of good clones out there) that I thought I might try one. But I'd like to hear from anyone who has comfortably carried a full size pistol and their experience.

I have done a CZ-97 (the 75's big brother) as a CHL piece. Good belt, good holster = no problem. True you don't have the same range of selection with CZ that you do with a 1911 platform, but it isn't that tough to find. And there are a few custom makers out there who do great work for the CZ line. Go for it.

If you pick a holster that has widely separated belt loops, it will be more stable and present less of a bulge than holsters that have the belt loop(s) directly on the handgun.

My choice has always been either the Tucker Answer or Texas Heritage.

A 'flesh guard' is an option to protect you from sharp, exposed surfaces of your handgun.

Tucker's holsters are offered for a 75B.

There is, however, a very long wait for his product.

My stainless CZ75 rides in a Galco Combat Master. Very good holster for the money.

I have a Hi-Power, which is pretty much the same size as a 75B (with a little shorter grip), and also carry in a Combat Master. With a good gun belt and untucked work shirt for cover, it's a great way to carry.

My CZ75B disappears in a Comp-Tac C-Tac holster, with a long-sleeve Wrangler shirt (unbuttoned and un-tucked - like a jacket) over it. It is my every-day carry.

Some people do not like Kydex holsters, but this works for me. You may find that any good-quality IWB holster will work fine.
