The topic of 51% Signs, the determination process by TABC, determining 51% status by checking the license, etc., etc....seems to be an ongoing point of inquiry and confusion among members here. Since it is an important topic and since we have such a valuable resource here with Steve, our very own TABC official, I suggest that a sticky be made of a thourough explanation of the the whole 51% situation. This would give members, especially with the addition of newer ones, a prominent place to access this info.

It might also prevent Steve Rothstein from getting carpal tunnel syndrome from having to re-type the same info so frequently as he so graciously and frequently does.

This might be accomplished by copying and pasting from various of his explanations or perhaps he could be persuaded to provide one final comprehensive explanation specifically for the sticky.

You would still have to direct some to the Sticky that they did not bother to read.......

Nah...you just need a sticky for the sticky.....

If everyone gets a 'welcome' message, it could be modified to include a section including, "Before you ask a questions about............."

Then list all of the topics that are rehashed over and over with a link to each sticky.
