up late and found this fun gem:

http://www.bradycampaign.org/facts/issu ... state_2003

It is a list of "grades" (yeah like in school) of states CCW/CHL right restriction.

Texas got a "d" which is too high. I want the brady campaign to hate our gun rights standard and fail us with extreme prejudice (see Alaska's grade of F-).

However...I'm thankful that we do have our right in some shape or form. +1 again for AK carry.

Reminds me of some college professors. You know, those who would fail you simply for not agreeing with their point of view.

The data is old (2003) since then at least one of the "A" States (Ohio) has passed a CHL law. Shows you just how up to date they are on their research.

I'll bet their research is up to date, they just choose not to publish it because the facts would destroy their rhetoric.

I like what they have listed for Vermont:

"Vermont: F-

no permit even required to carry concealed"

Knowing that Vermont has one of the lowest violent crime rates in the nation... it's just hillarious
