Didn't get around to the Wally Walk until late this evening, but I did as best as I could.
Wearing a Comp-tac IWB MTAC holster at around 4 o'glock with Sig P229 .40 S&W with 12+1 rounds of Corbon DPX 185gr, I strolled into my local Wally World around 11:30pm on 5/21. Not too many people around, but I asked my friend to come along with so he could look at my backside and see how much I was printing.

I get a cart and stroll over to the produce section


Once there, I promptly unholstered my firearm so that I could take the following picture:

So, printing doesn't look so bad I figure, at least to the regular untrained eye




I wanted to get some ammo, but it was almost midnight, and there was no one to be found near the sporting goods section (even less so than usual). My local Walmart also does not sell fresh nachos, but I did manage to get my proverbial nacho shot:


So, plastic in hand, Wally Walk complete, I'm just glad this wait is finally over and I can count myself among the rank of responsible citizens who are able to protect themselves and the people around them!

It's been a long and agonizing stay in the Waiting Room, but I've got to leave, see ya!

LOL, congrats and great post dukesean. When I bantered back and forth with TAM about not having done an official Wally Walk, and that he would have to post photos of it, he called my bluff and started a new trend. I like it!!

No, that banana is definitely OUT IN THE OPEN!! Is banana open carry allowed? He might get charged with UCB! Do we have a law against banana brandishing?? Lookout folks, dukesean has a banana and is not afraid to use it! This subject could turn out to be a slippery one!

Good job on the wally walk. I got my plastic about three weeks ago. My Walk went well also.

I wonder what on-lookers think of people taking pictures of each other in Wal-Mart. I mean who really takes pictures of each other in a Wal-Mart

I think we need a new forum section devoted exclusively for pictures of Wally Walks. Need to name it in honor of The Annoyed Man!

As far as mine.....aaarrrgghh! I am seeing those who sent there app at the same time and even those sent in after me - getting their license......

Very frustrating! I even called DPS and they told me that everything looks good to go - just waiting on background....then he told me to just be patient and possibly wait 90 -120 days....Excuse me?...

On the bright side, I received a canned e-mail response from DPS!

10 days after I e-mailed them asking about my status, I got the standard, "Your Application is being processed, etc., etc." response.
