criminal background check question

Hello everyone I am new to this am interested in getting CHL in attempting to fill out app. online the criminal record section i got a DWI 22 years ago I don,t know where to go to get necessary data to send can anyone help me with this?

You need to get documentation of the case from the clerk of the court in the county were you were convicted. Going back 22 years, maybe all you can get is a letter saying that they have no record of your conviction. DPS will accept that.

okay i got certified copy of disposition now if i am submitting application on line how do i get copies to state.

If you filed an online application, DPS will mail the paperwork to you. Then you take the course and mail it back to them. Include the case disposition at that time.
Be sure to keep a copy.
