Gonna skydive this weekend, anyone else skydive while carrying concealed? LOL, wish me luck!

Just take care that the wind doesn't blow your cover garment back and reveal your gun.

If it falls out of the holster, are you going to let it drop, or cut your chute free and try to catch up with it?

If you're jumping tandem it would be easier to carry. However if you are going static line, the PLF could be painfull. Depending on altitude the chill of the cold steel could also be uncomfortable. Wise choice to leave it in the vehicle.

Actually if you want to carry while jumping you could. You put a jump suit on over you clothes. It would prevent you from droping it. However it might be uncomfortable. I jumped a few years ago. Heck of a lot of fun!

IMHO, if you feel the need to carry while sky-diving, you oughta find a different operation, unless you're concerned about coming down in a nest of rattlesnakes.

Probably the safest place anywhere is free falling from 10,000 feet. Not too many BGs up there. Ought to be all right to leave it in the car. It'll be something you never forget.

Back on Terra Firma, safe and sound. I hoped you guys realized that I was kidding when I mentioned carrying while jumping out of a plane. I did not even wear my watch. I had a blast, highly recommend it.

Phooey. Just PLF the to the other side. When I got my wings at Ft Benning, I was required to make a jump with a rifle ina case strapped to my side, and we just had to arrange our landing so as to fall away from the rifle. Ok, it really wasn't a rifle, it was a 2x4 inside the rifle case, but if I had encountered the enemy on the drop zone I could have used it for a club, I guess.

Anyway, congrats to nedmoore on your jump! My dad always thought it was neat that I went to Airborne school, so for his 65th birthday him and another guy did a jump with the modern chutes (i.e. the parasail type, not the Airborne T-10 drop-you-like-a-sack-of-potatoes chute). He had so much fun he did it for his birthday every year until he was 70 or so...

What if someone tries to hijack the plane. With your pistol you can "leap" to the rescue and save the day. (I am so foony sometimes)

I use to jump back in the mid 70's then I got married had kids and be more responsible IE I couldn't afford it anymore.When I was jumping I paid $6.00 a jump
