Texarkana Gunslingers

On topic because of the name, but off topic because they're a baseball team. 
Texarkana's brand-new professional baseball team, the Texarkana Gunslingers of the Continental Baseball League, had their home debut last Sunday. It was a record crowd for a CBL game, sold out beyond standing room only.
We lost to McKinney Blue Thunder, but we had a great time.
This is true independent, unaffiliated, minor league ball. The CBL salary cap is $25,000 -- for the whole team, for the year. It's roughly equivalent to Single-A Short Season.
Still, it's professional, so it's off limits to CHL carry. We really need to fix that statute! (Since they play in a city park, they couldn't post valid 30.06 notices, either. There's your cue, Frankie.
