On this day 64 years ago, General Eisenhower said "OK lets go" and "Operation Overlord" began.
D-Day.
We must never forget.

"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve
is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable
to 'The United States of America', for any amount up to and including their
life. That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country
who no longer understand it."

For many, the amount owed was paid in full.

NEVER-EVER FORGET.
In the not too distant future we will have lost THAT generation of Heroes. Time is cruel that way! America owes a debt to them that we can never repay.
For most of us here, our war came later. Viet Nam, Desert Storm, OIF, 'Stan. Let us hope that 70 years from now, people still have the freedom and the moral spirit to stand for what is right!

It is up to those of us who do understand to educate the future generations, the kids in school now. As we are constantly reminded almost daily in the news, far too many school boards are of the ultra-liberal mindset.
