Milt Sparks question for Charles (or anyone else)

Other than cost and a reinforced mouth what are the differences between the Watch six and VMII? Do they wear about the same? I can't tell from the picture on Spark's site if the Watch 6 has a sweat shield. It would be for the new Glock so a sweat shield is not necessary. Is it worth it the shell out the extra change for the VMII?

Opps I should have looked before posting. I thought you had done a review os the W6. You've reviewed sever Spark's products but the W6 was not among them.

The W6 is very thin and very difficult to reholster without removing the holster from your pants.
The VMII has a lot more leather and it takes a lot more time to make. Not to mention it costs a lot more than the W6.
I've had both and prefer the VMII.

Thanks for the help HV.
Is the W6 so thin that when the gun is removed the mouth collapses?

That's exactly what happens. Very comfortable to wear but not as user friendly as the VMII imho.

So, in your opinion it would definitely be worth my while to spend the extra?

Yes, in my opinion the VMII is much better. Before you buy though, have you considered a Comp-tac CTAC?
I sold my VMII after I got the CTAC. Thinner, faster and kydex won't absorb sweat. It's also cheaper than Sparks.

As a matter of fact I have. Just tonight I discussed with my wife upgrading my Shirt Tucker.
I have a co-worker that has a c-tac and is willing to lend it to me for a few days to try out.

Take him up on the offer. It is better than adding to the weight of the holster box. I wish I had that privilege for just an hour wear before buying.

But leather is so much sexier.
