Has anyone heard from Jeff in say, ages? I haven't. Maybe they sent him off to Afghanistan? Or maybe Iraq? Oh, or possibly even Jersey... Seriously, did a BG take him out or what?

Someone mentioned 'brandishing' once too often!

There are no brandishing laws in Texas!
;-)

Someone would remind us.

I was, in fact, wondering the very same thing today. Looks like his last post was in January, and his last login was in March.

Maybe ODed on that gunpowder he sometimes seemed to use in the coffee. ;-)

I've "conversed" with him on GlockTalk since he left these parts.

I can't say I miss the guy... his posts were always critisizing and negative; seemed very elitist to me.

I like this place better without him... especially since his last post referred to me as a blatent liar. :totap: :nono: :grumble

Oh well.

He did leave a legacy. No one in this forum speaks of printing, brandishing, or being in fear of his life any longer.

I disagreed with him on some things, but I agreed on those.

I saw a guy printing the other day and tried to tell him it was brandishing under Texas law. He got mad and i was in fear of my life so i ran away real quick.

Maybe that will draw him out.....

I agreed with him about most things, he was pretty knowledgeable, but he seemed to have some emotional issues that brought out hostilities. The last few weeks he was online here he seemed to be getting worse losing control and patience.

I just hope he has resolved those issues which caused him so much anger and that he finds peace.

Wow.

Cut TXI some slack. He was far and away not the most obnoxiuos poster to frequent this forum. His contributions far exceeded any negatives. He had a grasp of CHL issues that few if anyone here will ever have.

I certainly miss his contributions here. If he ever decides to return I will welcome his input and appreciate his continued contributions.

Perhaps some people confuse passion with anger. We have bigger fish to fry here than criticize someone of TXI's caliber. I have been sniped by individuals here who have contributed less. TXI always was a gentleman to me.

:iagree: And I hope that TXI decides to come back and share more of his knowledge with the rest of us. :txflag:
