Right to the point.
Welcome, Coacher.
Just exactly what is your stance on the second amendment, the right to keep and bear arms, and how much infringement in the name of reasonable restrictions and common sense gun laws are you willing to tolerate?
Are you a member of the NRA and TSRA?
Again, welcome. No pressure here!

Hey....you forgot to strap him to the lie detector before you asked him the questions!
Also, did you ask him if he bought his "official" CHL Badge?......

Yeah, you sure don't want to mess around with those unofficial CHL badges!

This is my second day here, and I figured I'd piggy back on an existing intro thread to avoid cluttering up the forum with the "Hi I'm new" stuff.
I've been stunned over the past two days looking for serious information via the board, as it doesn't seem like many people have asked the questions I have rolling around in my head. Which I have discovered there is a reason for!
Unlike Georgia, the Texas code is very easy for a layman to decipher (except the validity of the SSN comment I posted). People at DPS don't avoid your questions, and give you unambiguous answers. This is refreshing. I hope you all know how good you have it! Even with the "flexible" wait times, at least you're not subject to multiple fiefdoms of county probate judges deciding they're going to individually interpret what "shall issue within 60 days" means, or the myriad ways they can skirt around that (some Georgians have waited upwards of 2 years.
I know the unequaled value, from a political action and member support perspective, that "local" gun organizations have, thanks to all we've been through with GeorgiaCarry.org . And I'm going to put my money where my mouth is as soon as I get a TX address!

Welcome, LSU, were glad to have you on board and look forward to you sharing some of your wisdom with us. Wow!...some Georgians have waited upwards of 2 years!!
You should post this in the "Waiting Room" we just don't realize how well off we are here in Texas. Oh, yeah, welcome to the great state of Texas, also!
