Where can I find a tuckable holster in stock

Right now I picked up an Don Hume IWB holster at a local gunshow about a month ago, and it works fine for the $30 I paid for it. However, it is not the tuckable kind, which means I can only wear it with untucked shirts. Given my work has business professional dress code, untucked shirts are a no go. I would love to get a Tucker Gunleather or Milt Sparks holster, but the waiting period is rediculous, so I'm looking for alternatives that I can actually buy now. I'm okay with buy a mass produced holster if there is one in stock and it is tuckable.

I'm looking to find one that can hold a 1911 4" barrel for right hand. I haven't found anyplace that has a tuckable holster in stock, and was curious if any of you knew a site that had some in stock.

(BTW, I have no interest in kydex. I have no interest in having plastic in my holster or my gun)

If Tucker's website is current, he has the Texas Heritage for a 5" in stock for $100.

Great holster and works fine for a 4".

Also, Shooters Station in Conroe was stocking a good selection the last time I was there.

I saw that posting on Tucker's site, but it is for a thumbreak holster, and I want an open top holster. But thanks for the suggestion.

Eric at HBE Leatherworks had my Com 3 holster to me in about a week. This was about a month ago, so you can call and see what his backlog is now. The Com3 is similar to the VM2 by Milt Sparks. I couldn't be happier with it. And I believe you can just order the tuckable clips from Top Gun Supply to make the Com 3 tuckable if you want. Or he has a selection of tuckable holsters also.

Sorry, I overlooked that. And Tucker should know better, anyway.

When I first started carrying a 1911 concealed, I bought a Texas Heritage. In my ignorance, I requested a thumbbreak.
It routinely disengaged the safety. Besides, I had gotten comfortable with the 1911 and had him cut away the thumbbreak.

Now I won't even consider a 1911 holster with a thumbbreak.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm not a fan of plastic holsters. I'm looking for all leather holsters. I'm going to contact DM Bullard who happens to be pretty close to me.

Here ya go...I have the split decision and find it works well for my XD...a 1911 would absolutely disappear in it.

http://www.highnoonholsters.com/Product ... tband.html

I wouldn't put it in the same class as the Milt Sparks or the Tucker, but it is stockable, and HighNoon Holsters are a good group to deal with.

Good luck and let us know what you decide...and don't forget the pictures!

Sorry about that. I missed the comment about kydex in your original post.

That's pretty common for many internet dealers.

If you walked into Wal-Mart and all the shelves were bare, you'd walk out but the internet doesn't allow you to see their stock and many of them don't stock very much, they just order from the manufacturer when you place your order.

I can't think of many tuckable options for a Commander except for Galco's SkyOps SKY266B and it works well. It's got about the biggest tuck crevice of any tuckable I've seen.

And we don't have any bare shelves.

So other than concealment, what retention if any do you have?
