Very nice pics and guns for that matter KinnyLee. I'm willing to bet that Benelli didn't come cheap!

Thanks. For the most part, the Benelli is not cheap but I figured that if I can afford it, I might as well go for it. I didn't really think AJC Sports Shop is overcharging for this item. $1450 is the price they charged. Beside, if I do decide to sale it, I can make all the $$ back because people out there will pay a high premium on these things.

Im sure they hold up their value pretty well. Im thinking of a Mossberg 590A1 or Remi 870 as a HD gun in the near future. The Benelli is probably a little out of my price range (my wife's anyway)

That Moss is a good choice. Excellent house gun. Great if you have to go outside. Dont worry near as much about a skint place.

Good crowd on Sunday

I stopped by on Sunday around noon and the place was packed. I've attended this show before, and have not seen that large of a crowd in the past.
No firearms for me this time around. Did find a decent concealment vest and got the kids & wife a few items as well. We only stayed for an hour and then went to Galveston for an afternoon at the beach. Long day, but it was fun.

Yep, 9 rounds of 00 Buck is pretty nice, not to mention Mossberg's track record for quality. Although Uncle Larry swears by the Remington 870's or most anything Remington as they've tested the hands of time/reliablity as well. I can see why, as he has a few. There always seems to be that person who throws the wrench in the final decision and make it that much tougher.

I have an Express Magnum 870 for HD. Only thing it needs is a Surefire foregrip. Other than that, it's nothing but utterly reliable.

To tell you the truth, I would rather have that ended up in the evidence locker than a $1400 shotgun. lol. Same reason why I carry a $650 1911 instead of a $2000 1911.

I certainly agree with you KL! The hand me downs are meant for very limited use in my opinion.

There were plenty of good stuff out there. Springfield XD .45ACP for $479
Few Wilson Combat CQBs for around $1700
Rock Island Arms 1911s from $299 to $319
HK USPs for under $700
Plenty of AKs and ARs
Overall, it was a decent show.
