Hi,

New here, been lurking for a while. Seems to be a very informative forum.

Question:

I live in Houston(Spring) Harris County, I part-time live in Nueces county, I work in San Patricio County. How much more complications will this add to getting the CHL? I registered online and have the packet, the CHL class is August 27th if any of that info. helps.

Thanks,
-Cain

I wouldn't complicate the issue by even trying to enter the temporary/part time locations, if you have a permanent address that you receive your mail at, that you are registered to vote at, and that is what they are primarily interested in. Of course you should probably get a concensus from the various CHL instructors on here and not just take my word for it.

I have a lot of fun with applications like that, because I was not born in a state or county of the United States although I was born within the continental United States, so I fill in the blank for the city I was born in and then leave the others blank.

Agree w/ Jim on the Instructors being the final authority. But,
Permanent mailing address + same address on a DL, + same address on a voter registration card ought to = the address on your CHL no matter where your fishing camp or retiree get away is.

:iagree: totally. Do not confuse them w/ several addresses.
