Well I have had my plastic a few days It's Saturday morning and now it's time for the famed Wally Walk, I will be helping the better half with the weekly shopping, bank run, and stopping off to get a box of ammo in sporting goods. :smilelol5:
I'll post a follow up when we get back. :coolgleamA:

COVER ME, I'M GOIN IN...!

:patriot: :txflag:

We arrived ahead of the parade of bikers with police escort through the intersection and pulled into the parking lot and parked the required distance away. We headed in.

Image

We made it through the greeter with no issues and went to the bank inside as I stood out side the area, the wife made the transaction. We then headed for the pet care items we needed.. And from there Ill let the photos talk..

Image

There were 2 persons in sporting goods as we approached, this store is real good about having help in that department

Wow these are nice, Following bryang's lead Ill have to test the trigger pull on one when I get home..

Image

Well we made it out alive, keeping an eye out for the Prison escapees out of New Mexico, I load the trunk of the car.

MMMMmmmmm test fired one and the trigger pull on this one was just fine... "rlol"

Thanks for bringing a smile to my face.

The banana picture is great, especially the display of "safe banana handling" by keeping the trigger finger along the side of it. :anamatedbanana

Great report.

Congratulations!

I'm glad to see another responsible CHL holder getting comfortable with being out and about and prepared.

I don't know if Mythbusters ever tried leaving a boresighter in place when taking a shot:

Not on that episode, it was just dirt and some other things, as far as I can remember nothing they put in the barrel made it explode, the 2 myth's they where trying to prove wrong as the dirt in the barrel and a finger an a barrel. However, that picture of the boresighter speaks for itself.

Some gun forums have declared the boresighter kablooey to be a fake, pointing out how the barrel looks almost like it's been sawn and then peeled back.

A collector buddy of mine lives in Vancouver, WA, and it was one of his best friends who took the photos seen at that web page (there were many more photos not seen there). Karl was there when it happened and wrote up a first hand report.
