Friends Loss

I have a friend (also a forum member) who's son drowned today. Please remember Jon and his family in your prayers. I will be preaching the funeral. Not an easy task.

Jon an family are added to my prayers as well as you as you deal with the loss and find the words that will bring scomfort to the family.

Our thoughts and prayers will be with Jon's family, friends, and you Carl, during this time of grieving. May God give you all strength and courage to help cope with this tragic loss. Our solace is we know he is now in the loving arms of our Father where there is no more pain or sorrow.

Funeral went very very well. Thank you for all of the prayers. Please remember to pray for Jon's family. The coming months of Thanksgiving, his son's birthday, and Christmas will be hard.

I pray Lord and ask You to be with Jon and his family, only You Lord, the Prince of Peace, are able to touch these broken hearts and Father I pray for that healing peace to fill them and their home. Dear Lord hold them in your arms and carry them through this horrible storm. Speak peace to the storm and take them by the hand and lift them up. In Jesus name.
