I am somewhat new to the caring a gun out and about, can any of you recommend a good in the pants holster that is easy to put on and go? Thanks in advance for all your input...

There are several, but I use the Comp-Tac Infidel with a Gurkha support about 90% of the time.

You will find several who recommend the Crossbreed Supertuck. It's what I use for my Glock 23.

Thanks.. I will check them out... One more question I have not got my permit to carry yet, but would I be legal to conceal it on my person while driving and to my office and carrying at my office.

Thanks David

I would also highly recommend the DM Bullard Dual Carry holster! Excellent holster at a very reasonable price.

Dual Carry Holster

I have one and love it! I can literally not even tell it is there, and it can be configured for tucked / un-tucked applications.

DM Bullard I like the look... seems clean...simple... I am curious about the tucked and untucked... I mean how can you conceal it while being tucked? Would like to see some pictures... I usually look like a bumb when not working since I have to dress up at work... so I wear t-shrits untucked most of the time, but if I could wear it while tucked in too that would be cool.

Thanks David

I usually wear it untucked as well, but I went to a formal outing about a week ago. I had it tucked in beneath my dress shirt. All you could see were the clips. Even with my jacket off, nobody could tell.

I use the Comp-Tac C-TAC or Minotaur myself but Comp-Tac makes several different holsters that may fit your needs. Other highly recommended brands include Side-Armor and Milt-Sparks. You'll find many different recommendations around here because we all have different needs and what is comfortable for one may not be comfortable for all.

Do you tuck the shirt in then pull it out enough to over hang a little? I mean I would think if you moved the wrong way you would be showing.

Right. Most of the IWB holsters have the clips attached on the lower edge of the holster, which allows you to tuck your shirt in between the holster and your pants. Then, just pull the shirt out a little bit.

Yup, this is the same way. It works very well.

I will point out that my Crossbreed for a similarly-sized gun is not "easy on, easy off". It is an ordeal to get it on and off.

My FIST K3 is far better in this regard. The Crossbreed is more comfortable. Both are not great when driving, and my SmartCarry is not much better. I am intrigued with the DM Bullard holsters and may eventually find myself with one.

Mine is so easy to put on/ take off, that when I enter a place that I cannot take it, such as my school, I pull the entire holster out and put it in the center console of my jeep. It takes no time at all, and just as easily goes back in.
