Kel-Tec P32 for Daily Carry

Picked one of these little guys up last weekend. Carried all day Monday without ever needing to duck into a restroom for an adjsutment. Yes, it's ONLY a 32, but the size & weight allowed me to clip it on my pocket and forget about it.

Still have an LCP on order, but until it comes in, the P32 will find a happy home in my pocket.

Just curious why you chose the P32 over the P3AT? They are virtually the same size. I understand you have an LCP on order and a 32 is better than nothing but I don't even feel comfortable with my P3AT as my primary.

Personally the minimum I feel comfortable carrying is a high capacity 9mm.

My 10mm and 45ACP bring me great comfort when I carry them with the P3AT serving back up duty. :patriot:

It was the right price with a belt clip and an extra mag. As far as the stopping power, I am willing to live with less power in order to get a pistol that can drop in the pocket of ANYTHING that I'm wearing. If I have the right attire, then the Defender comes along. Nothing works better than a 45 for me. But at times the 32 (or 380) will work just fine. Figure two 32's equal one 45???

When my LCP comes in, then I'll probably sell the P32 (no need for two mouse guns, unless the wife decides she wants it)

Have you looked at the Kel-Tec PF9 as a pocket gun? It's not much larger than the P3AT. I may buy one for my wife & daughter in the near future.

I've looked at them, not too much larger than the P32, but it is about twice the weight. Would have worked if I'd have found one at the right price.

I wasn't looking for anything to replace my Colt Defender, I wanted somrthing small, light-weight and easy to conceal.

I find that the P32 isn't appreciably larger or harder to conceal with the 10 round mag. It still fits in my pocket just fine.

Is 11 rounds of .32acp any better?

I like my Kel-Tec P32. It is small light and it is FUN to shoot which the 380 is NOT. It is, at least for me, very accurate. I have shoot a 1.5" group at 10 yards consistantly. To me it is like a Timex watch: dependable, accurate, always with me, and keeps on going bang! :fire

I am not sure a PF9 is pocketable. It is almost the same size as my Kahr and the Kahr is way too big for my pockets.

A P32 with a clip sounds like a really good thing to have. PM me when you plan to sell it, I might be interested in picking one up.

The PF9 and Kahr PM9 are both pocketable by some folks. I am not a really big guy (5' 9" and 195), but carry my PM9 in the cargo pocket of shorts, or right front jean or dockers pocket regularly. I use either a DeSantis Nemesis or a WRB Pocket Holster and it works well with indiscernible printing.

PM9 is smaller than a PF9. I have a CW9, which I think is closer to the size of a PF9 (longer and taller than the PM9 by about 1/2"). There is no way the grip would fit in the pocket of any clothes I have except maybe the gigantic cargo pockets in cargo pants.

I have carried a friends PF9 in the same holsters and really can't tell that much difference in my jeans or Dockers.. So, it can be done, but you need to try it first depending on your size.

A PF9 is easily carried in a pocket of most pants, but especially cargo pants or casuals like dockers or Wrangler Riattas.

Depends completely on your size. The P32 is one of very few semi's that I can carry in a pocket even if I wear baggy pants with large pockets.

I have a P32 also, my 2nd one. I also have a P3AT, but the P32 is enough lighter that I keep it for carrying around the house, in the yard, short trip to the store.
If I'm going to be out for a while, I take the P3AT.
I keep thinking about selling the P32, but just can't bring myself to do it.
