Another UK story

So I was reading this story http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... shirt.html this morning and noticed the quote below. So I am assuming they are talking about a BB gun here. Am I off base? Just funny that they now are making up names for banned items so that they don't sound as innocent.

Granted a BB gun is still very lethal but that doesn't mean it needs to be renamed. What a great looking glass we have into our future at the current rate of things. Get out there and vote.

"The attacker then fired the gas-powered ball-bearing pistol three times"

If firearms become Illegal, I'll just work on a magnetic powered rail pistol in my garage.

...As soon as I can figure out how to power it.

Electron magnet. The size of a potato gun... Good luck putting that in an ankle holster.

9v battery, capacitor (taken from stun gun), 1/2" ID washers coiled in copper wire in series as electromagnets. Have to wait for the capacitor to charge before it will fire though...ah well, you could club somebody with it. :???:
