whats the deal with my glasses

has anyone ever tried shooting with and without their glasses i cant shoot worth a darn with those glasses on yea on
i take them off and its all better whats the deal any eye doctors in the house

Your current glasses are probably not setup to focus on your front sight. Are you near or far sighted? Cross eye dominant?
It's ok if the target is slightly blurred but the front sight needs to be crisp and clear.

im far sided and the sights are clear not blurry

Could be optical distortion in the lenses. Do you have a different pair of glasses to try?

I routinely practice without my prescription glasses. It is my feeling that if I can shoot passably without my glasses,
then I should do well enough with them. It also builds my confidence that if I find myself in a situation where I need
the weapon and do not have my glasses, I still have a chance of surviving the encounter rather than spending time
looking for them. I highly recommend you spend at least some time practicing without the corrective lenses.
