And to clarify, the Castle Doctrine has nothing to do with carrying a firearm in your car, it is the Motorist Protection Act that allows that. Castle Doctrine is the 'stand your ground' law that says you do not have to show you tried to retreat before defending yourself wherever you have a right to be.flb_78 wrote:If by castle doctrine you mean, can they defend their property in Texas, then yes, it would apply.
