.22 Cal. Conversion Kit For A Glock 19

I'm looking for suggestions for a 22 Cal. Conversion Kit For a Glock 19.

I'm sure there are good ones out there, but I don't have a clue as to who makes a high quality conversion kit.

I'm also not certain if conversion kits are generally plagued with problems of one sort or another? Or if they could potentially bring about mechanical problems with the Glock?

Recommendations and/or ideas regarding this anyone?

With the cost of ammo I'd be at the range more often with the very economical .22 cal.

As it is, even 9mm ammo is costly now.

Thanks

I would not purchase anything other than an Advantage Arms conversion kit for your Glock. They are still usually pretty picky about the ammuntion they like, but the best choice out there. I have a kit for a full size Glock that you are more than welcome to take for a test drive.

One of the advantages of the AA kit over some of the others is that the slide will lock back. The disadvantage that I have found is that it is a hair bigger than the real glock slide....making it a pain to practice with from the holster. I bent a few slide lock levers before figuring this out :biggrinjester:

They sure make the plate rack fun....and affordable.

Anyone got some pros or cons for this method, I'd really like a .22 for the less expensive range shooting. I have a glock 19 which I love and want either a similar .22 or possibly this option. Anyone done this and been happy with the accuracy afterwords.
