Hi there,

I was looking for a 12 guage 870 that I can use for HD, it doesn't have to have an extended mag or short barrel, I can take care of that. I was really wanting a Marine Magnum, it looks like an incredible gun, but I will probably end up settling for less!

I was also looking for a lever rifle, and I think 30/30 caliber is what I am looking for. Stainless or corrosion resistant is preferred again, but not necessary.

I am in Granbury, and would prefer FTF. I am also a (recent, woohoo!) CHL holder, if that helps.

I have a Marine Magnum that I have never shot! It is sitting by the bed loaded with "00" and ready for action. I changed out the small safety button for a larger one (easier to get at). Unfortunately, it is not for sale.

I actually purchased a 26" Vent Rib Barrel (Park'ed) with rem-chokes and a standard magazine spring, plug and end cap. With this set up I can legally/effectively use it to hunt doves if I decide (or my Son decides) to do so.

I am only posting this here to let you know that if you can afford the price (as opposed to a normal 870) you will find that it is a great gun and of course it will last forever. Personally, I will never sell or trade mine and my Son is quite happy about that!
