Post Office Parking Lot

I was at the Post Office annex in the shopping center at 281/Bitters in San Antonio, unarmed by law, when I read the sign on the door while standing in line. Can't quote exactly but it basically said that concealed or open carry of any firearm or dangerous weapon in the building or Parking Lot was against the law. :totap: Now I left my kimber locked up under the seat with my glock 37 in the center console but didn't know the parking lot was off limits too. This seems a bit bogus to me but I need to know for sure if they can legally cover the entire parking lot with their gun-free safe zone garbage.

What do you all think.

You'll find that opinions vary, but it's been discussed often.

I think concealed means concealed.

My question is in regards to the Parking lot being covered under the posted sign and it's referenced law, not concealed.

However upon finding a few more topics here on the forum I think this is a subject that is on the verge of being talked to death. I just don't go to the P.O. very often and will limit my visits in the future.
