Gentlemen, I've been searching the internet trying to locate the fabrication plans for, or and old style wooden handgun range box similar to the ones popular in the 60's ~ 80's. These were typically 4 to 5 gun cases with a hinged side that folded up and typically had a bracket for spotting scope mounting. My dad had one however it disappeared along with several of his guns prior to his death a few years back. Any links or help would be appreciated.

I had no idea anyone was still making the old "Bullseys Boxes." I made one about 30 years ago and gained a much greater appreciation for talent of a true cabinet-maker! Mine looked pretty rough.

I still have the one that my dad made circa 1965. He was definitely an amateur woodworker.

That looks like a real worthwhile project. Let's keep looking through the woodworking forums for the plans. Somebody's got 'em.

Like I said, somebody's bound to have a plan. That box is a beauty and will be a worthy project for someone with a greater skill level than me.
