Try contacting this guy: blademan21@netzero.com" <blademan21@netzero.com> . He makes them. Here is part of an email I got from him last summer on speed strips for a 44 special:

Saw that you carry a .44spl. I also could not find speed strips for my 5-shot .44spl's.

So I spent a lot of time researching and found that if I modified a rifle stripper clip I could turn it into a .44 speed strip. At first I blued them, didn't like that. Then I tried painting them, they came out worse. Now,after modifying them I send them out for powder coating. The rest,as they say,is history.

They are flat and easy to conceal, easy to use and are durable. They hold 5 rounds, perfect for your .44, and are in stock now. This past Monday I picked a batch form the powder coater. This morning I mailed out 8 and a pouch. Four and 1 pouch went to Denton,Texas. The other 4 went to Coshocton,Ohio.

The speed strips are $8.00 each and the pouch is $25.00. The picture of the pouch is of the prototype that is raw. It had not been dyed black. I wanted to see what one would look like before I had better ones made.

No I didn't. I was really looking for a speed loader rather than a speed strip. So this really wasn't what I was looking for.

Or you can do what I did.

Buy a vacuum cleaner belt, like one for a Kirby. The longer the better, but you should get 2 6 rds strips from one for a Kirby.

Punch holes using a 7/16" hole punch to the correct center to center spacing.

Also works for my .45 Colt but the holes are marginally too large for my .41 mag.

Wish I could take credit! It came off one of the numerous forums several years ago. Google should probably find results.

One modification that I have considered is gluing a second, unpunched strip to the back to provide some stiffness. I am worried about getting glue too close to the holes which wouldn't allow the rim to be inserted.
