Synopsis.
A son went to visit his mother in Oak Cliff. While driving up to mother's house, he notices door has been kicked in. Inside is a 17yrd old kid, suspected of burglary. 17yr old kid shoots at the son. Son returns fire, hits the suspect, who later dies.

Because the son had his CHL, he was able to protect his life. Without one, that article could have read "Burglary suspect fatally shoots defenseless citizen".

"will probably be referred to a grand jury" :headscratch

I was really expected a "This was a clear cut case of self defense, no charges will be filed" (Or am I mistaken and even when they say something like that it goes before a grand jury)?

Another fine example of swift justice! Now if we could only fix the part of wasting tax payer money we would be on a roll!
