Socialism in action. Unfortunately we need this. It will fail and people's eyes will be opened. Then a new "contract with America" with new (and real) conservatives will emerge. Next, Obama will get out of the promised tax cuts for those making $200 grand to pay for this failed experiment.

It's real but it's not a change. They're just continuing the Bush big government spending.

Since you are into ex-president bashing you had better include Clinton, Carter, Johnson, and FDR in there too. Reich was in Clinton's cabinet, or have you mis-remembered?

Unbelievable! I guess the middle class is learning a lesson about voting.....maybe we should be less concerned about working, paying mortgages, keeping what is left of the economy afloat and take the day off to VOTE! It is going to be a long 4 years. I really wanted to be able to say that I was wrong about the incoming administration but so far they seem to be what I expected. ARGH!

I thought this was going to be a question about menopause. I must be spending too much time with my aunts.

Already happening. In fact, I'm sure BofA, Citi and Chase will get a piece of the stimulus pie after complaining about people not making their monthly payments. Personally, I think credit is a risky business; sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Why our government should subsidize the loses of bookies is beyond me. I say let them fail. The whole credit system/economy needs to be reworked anyway.
