I have never seen a 30.06 posting, however it has been a few months since i have been there, please let us know if it is when you go there.

It was not posted 30.06 the last time I was there and it is a government owned facility. There were some gunbusters but I can't remember if they were revolvers or berettas.

Somewhat related, I was at the boat show not too long ago and the Reliant Center isn't posted 30.06 but it had some wording to the effect of weapons are prohibited even people licensed under the texas concealed handgun law??? My guess is that it does not constitute legal posting???

Your guess would be correct.
Last time I was there, I looked at that sign, let out a big chuckle and walked right on in, past a gaggle of about half a dozen cops.

I went, but kept the gun in the car. (I was bringing in lots of contraband food.) I did not see any 30.06 signs, nor were there any Reliant nazis checking for forbidden items.
Dave Ramsey rocked, btw.
