test of a quickie gun rest.

Looks good. How does it work? Looked very simple to make.

I needed a rest for sighting in a couple of revolvers.. I drilled a 1 inch hole in the board. and hammered the 3/4 inch pvc in it.
The 3/4" tee just got temporarily stuck on another piece of pvc and run through the table saw.

The pvc in the board then got trimmed, so that the barrel height was about right. I used a c-clamp on the base board to make it solid to the bench I was shooting from.

If I was going to do another i would make the base board longer. The one in the photo had the base of the rubber grips right on the edge of the wood.
But it worked well, and took every bit of 5 minutes to make.
I think the cash outlay was about a quarter, for the tee.

I needed that one quickly. I've figured out a better one since then. But it's way more expensive at about 75 cents.
