I have an old .45 AMT Hardballer (1911), stainless steel, that a friend of mine wants to buy. It's in decent condition at least, but I've been told that AMT doesn't have a great quality reputation.

Would anyone have a rough idea what it would be worth, or can you point me to a website or other place I could find out?
Thanx,
TraCoun

AMT and Detonics both had quality issues. However, if you happened to get a "good"
one they proved to be fairly accurate and dependable. I've had a AMT .45 Gov model
for years and it's just like a Timex.
Anyway, maybe this will help you.
Hardballer: NIB $495
Exc. $400
VG $350
G $275
F $200
P $125

I bought one 10 years ago...10 minutes on the range and 10 months in the repair shop. Was returned in original defective condition, no repair done by FACTORY. Dealer allowed me full value to trade for a S&W. I would not buy one unless you can test it for over 250 rounds without a malfunction with the duty ammo you intend to carry.
