Thanks everyone for the tips on printing, IWB/OWB, holster placement, etc. Someone may have answered this already, but I can't find it...so here goes:

Monday through Friday, I am expected to dress like a Yuppie. This may, in fact, mean that I AM a Yuppie, but I try to delude myself. Nevertheless, now that the CHL is finally en route from Austin, does anyone have suggestions on concealment with a suit on? Sure, the jacket makes the more formal times easy, but what about when a shirt and tie is all? Is there a comfortable way to carry under a tucked-in dress shirt? Is a Glock 19 just a bit too big for such a setup? Should I stick with hiding it in the briefcase/laptop bag?

That's one good suggestion.

Here's an under the shirt shoulder holster that provides very deep concealment in a shirt and tie environment.

You can leave one shirt button unbuttoned behind the tie for faster access, or sew the button in place on the overlapping side of the shirt permanently and sew a bit of velcro on both sides behind it to perform the closure.

Access is a little slower than an IWB under a jacket, but you don't have to worry about being given away by how you bend. Just don't let folks hug you with their arms inside yours, or they'll figure things out right quick.

As I've mentioned in several other threads, I've found the 5.11 Holster Shirt to be an excellent solution when "dressing up". A G19 should fit OK, and as long as your dress shirt isn't tight, it should be unnoticeable. It probably depends on your body type and how well the shirt blouses. I'm large-framed, and can fit a Full-sized Hi-Power in the shirt and effectively conceal it, though generally I stick the PA-63 in it with a Ruger LCP as a BUG in a pocket holster.

Steer clear of anything with lots of velcro-its not exactly quiet-seriously. Plus the velcro itself can be annoying.

The review on the site says the seams are itchy. Is that a problem?

I've never experienced any itchiness. I find increasingly more that it is so comfortable when carrying my LCP, that I completely forget it's there.

The only way I could imagine it ever being itchy is if the shirt was WAY too big. The sizing charts seem to be accurate for the most part. In my particular case, the first one I ordered was XXXL. I have a 52" chest, but speculate that sizing is done with the assumption that folks with XXXL-sized chests have more midsection than I do (my pants size is 40"). The belly area was a bit looser than I expected. I bought two more and jumped down to XXL, and ended up with a perfect fit. It is nice and stretchy and wears like an "under-armor" compression shirt, which is really the way it was designed. Worn with a cover shirt, it looks like a regular t-shirt from first appearances.

It's not "lots" of velcro, but rather two small squares at the opening designed to enable you to get your hand in the opening without having to actually pull on anything. It does not make much noise.

Look at the person on the top left of the website (the weblet). He has a tuckable. It looks excellent for business casual.

Smartcarry. I have a friend that wears suits all the time and carrys a G19 in it. He doesn't look frumpy by blousing the shirt and he can take his jacket off. It took some getting used to but he's been carryin that way for 2 years+.

I can assure you, it is not on the bang switch. The angles in the photo just make it appear that way. My index finger is considerably shorter than my middle finger - if it were inside the trigger guard, the bent index finger would appear shorter than the bent middle finger wrapped around the grip. It is straight and extended over the trigger guard.

It would be easy to conceal under a coat or blazer but policy is very clear.
