NRA Crank Call?

Is anyone else getting a call from the NRA (866-431-5115 - unknown name on caller ID) but when you answer the phone nobody is there and a second later it actually hangs up? I got this call twice and decided to call back to let them know how rude I thought it was, I was actually surprised to find out it was the NRA.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that anyone getting this call should let them know its not how they should do business.

I don't think NRA personnel make these calls. I think they are made by telemarketing companies. (I don't know for a fact.)
These companies use an automated system that dials phone numbers from a list. If a person answers, the system then switches the call to a human solicitor.
Sometimes all the people are tied up. The system should stop dialing in that case, but occasionally it does what happened to you.
By the way, if you get a number on caller ID and want to identify it, just search the web for it without any punctuation, for example, 866 431 5115.
(Also do this for your own phone numbers to see if they are posted anywhere.)

I got a call from that number last Saturday and also saw that it was probably the NRA.
BTW, Google is not returning the same level of information as before. I could enter a phone number and the results would include name and address.
Now when I enter my number, I get 5 results that all appear to be paid phone lookup services.

If the phone number is in a public Internet directory, you will get a name and address.
The sites that you saw when you looked up the NRA phone number are sites where people can list the phone numbers that annoying calls came from.

But what I was saying is my information that would show up a few months is no longer appearing.
I did get 1 of 5 numbers that I entered to show the information that I was expecting.

Sorry, I misunderstood.
I just tried my two land lines and got my name and address on both.
All this stuff is flaky.

That makes sense. You are probably right.
