I use Skeet chokes when shooting Skeet.
However, your issue could be the fit of the gun, eye dominance, education, phase of the moon, or something else...
The biggest hint I can give you is stand with navel pointed at the low house for the first half and at the high house for the 2nd half.

Tom, thanks. I have not shot a steel challenge. It will give me a chance to check it out. I will check the PSC calendar. Not sure what I am looking for but I used to have an old 1100 back in the 70s. sure miss that thing. I have a tactical I built up for home use on a Mossberg Maverick and works great but I have been wanting an 100. Will come and find you.

oops
My wife reminded me that Sunday is Mothers Day. I will NOT be at the Steel Challenge but I will be at the pistol range on Saturday morning between 8 and noon.
If you're there and are interested in the shotgun, look me up.
