Can anybody recommend a quality pistol rack for a gun safe?

I have a pretty big gun safe with several shelves in it but my handguns when lying on their side are taking up a ton of space.

I saw some pictures here a while back of a member who had some kind of padded or lined pistol rack on the shelves in his safe which allowed him to put his handguns in vertically which saved a ton of space.

I'm just curious if any of you could recommend a good solution for me. I found the following after some googling but it doesn't seem like it would hold them very securely. Kind of looks like junk to me. I don't mind paying a little more for something quality that'll hold them in place good. Thanks for any tips.

Awesome, thanks. I don't think I would have ever even thought to look in that section.

I have a custom made one for 7 Pistols but the maker is no longer in business.

Here is a good looking one from Cheaper than Dirt:

It is Modular. You can buy several and take one side off and add to make one complete one as long as you want. Also, it does not absorb oils from the guns like some others do.

For some reason, the photo of my homemade rack was gone, so I uploaded it again.

Thanks Charles. This statement is going to sound odd, but you have a nice rack. "rlol"

So the little L-Brackets on the bottom are all that keeps it from toppling over?

I mean, obviously the guns do this, but I'd like for it to be pretty stable on its own.

The L-brackets keep it upright, until you get a few guns on it, then they provide much more support.

Nothing personal, but I'm going to have shoot you in the least favorite foot.

I just wanted to update the thread and say that I received my custom built rack from Rick at manaboutracks and I couldn't be happier with it. Thanks for the suggestion.

It more than doubled the amount of handguns I can put on my top shelf alone and seems to be top quality.

For fifty bucks shipped I feel like this was a great deal. I'm really happy with it.

The wire racks from Cabelas works good for me.
