Took the family to the range a few weekends ago and my youngest daughter (12) finally decided that she wanted to shoot. Until now she has just watched (and shot a BB gun at grandma's) but she was ready to shoot this time. I'm really happy that she finally took the plunge. I wasn't going to rush her before she was ready... but I think every young lady (and young man for that matter) should know how to shoot.

Both girls shot an XD-9 and an HK USP-9. Mary wasn't up to shooting my XD-45, but Brandi gave it a whirl. Of course, my wife was all smiles as the munchkins went on and on about how they preferred her HK to my "ugly" XD. Oh well, at least they're shootin

Its always nice to see ladies that have a real interest in shooting. My girlfriend and Mom have been shooting with me quite often. My girlfriend has a Glock 19 and a Mossberg pump 12ga. My Mom is comfortable with my Sig Mosquito as of now, but I working on getting her to shoot some of my other pistols.

Excellentmmy daughter is 27 and for christmas I bought her a sig mosquito and S&W MP9c for SD I'm hoping she will get her CHL in Nebraska,I was up there for Christmas and took her shooting her new guns.I couldn't believe how well she shot that 9mm her first time out,at 7 yards they were in the 9 and 10 rings,downside is with the price of ammo I gotta reload for her too and ship it,1000 rounds at a time,At least I get her calling even if she probably needs more ammo
