youngest daughter's first shoot!

Took the family to the range a few weekends ago and my youngest daughter (12) finally decided that she wanted to shoot. Until now she has just watched (and shot a BB gun at grandma's) but she was ready to shoot this time. I'm really happy that she finally took the plunge. I wasn't going to rush her before she was ready... but I think every young lady (and young man for that matter) should know how to shoot.
The link below is to a picassa web album (It's Google's image hosting service) where you can see pics of Mary and Brandi (12 and 15) sending some lead downrange. Not spectacular photos (cell phone) but I guess you can tell I'm a proud pappa
Both girls shot an XD-9 and an HK USP-9. Mary wasn't up to shooting my XD-45, but Brandi gave it a whirl. Of course, my wife was all smiles as the munchkins went on and on about how they preferred her HK to my "ugly" XD. Oh well, at least they're shootin
