Here is what I've got so far:

===Success====

Texas Couple Holds Intruder At Gunpoint
(bad form with his finger inside the trigger guard though)
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/03/ ... 9273.shtml" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Pharmacy Robbery Thwarted
http://www.wftv.com/video/18676583/index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Home invasion repulsion
http://www.kvoa.com/global/video/flash/ ... D1=3430230" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Ambushed pizza man kills attacker
http://www.thestate.com/local/story/708475.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

===Reasons To Carry====
"Man arrested, charged in home invasion"
http://www.galvnews.com/story.lasso?ewc ... 761d90e2cf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

"Four alleged MS-13 gang members arrested in Houston"
http://www.khou.com/news/local/stories/ ... 25c0b.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

All grabbed from this forum. Let's all build a list to help counter the anti's arguments of "well, Atlanta and Germany...."

You might also want to include a list of failures of "Just give them what they want." Here's one I started a while back: http://kd5nrh.blogspot.com/2008/03/just ... -want.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That is a very telling comparison...

Obviously, I, and many others, would err on the side of retaining the ability to defend ourselves...

And once again, the option that gun-control advocates would prefer is not something I would support or comply with...ever...

Clayton Cramer is way ahead of you in compiling news stories of civilian gun usage. Go check his blog at

http://www.claytoncramer.com/gundefense ... ogger.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

There must be hundreds of accounts on there now.
