I hate to point this out, but if the only thing that is done is to send the 2a with no opinion, the recipient will simply apply their own interpretation of the 2a to the message. If you send it to a 2a supporter, they will understand you want to protect the individuals right to bear arms. Simply put, this cannot possibly work because the reader will apply their own "filter" to interpret the meaning of the message and will think you agree with whatever their personal bias to the issue is.

I think the Supreme Court settled that in Heller.

You might be right politicians tend read things with their own spin, but a message that is associated with the 4th of July should be pretty clear.

How about a pic of the Constitution and bill of rights, I can think of one they have not ignored at least half of.
One amendment or the other, I want them all followed to the T.
