How many demonstrations do the anti's need to prove that armed resistance, in the form of one responsible person or an entire swat force, will stop the executions of active shooters!!!! :mad5
"He acted in nothing short of a heroic way today, and but for his actions, we certainly could have had a worse tragedy," said Moore County District Attorney Maureen Krueger. "We had an officer, a well-trained officer, who performed his job the way he was supposed to and prevented this from getting even worse than it is now."
Might I add he was very young, only 25 years old! Which is in the age vicinity of chl students who would be carrying at a university.
It ended when 25-year-old Officer Justin Garner traded gunfire with Stewart in a hallway, wounding the suspect.

The police officer hit the BG with one round to the chest, wounding but not killing him.
The police officer was hit by the BG 3 times in the leg(s) and is expected to survive.

GG - handgun. BG - deer rifle. GG - leg injuries. BG - center mass injury.

Points:
BGs will use whatever they can get their hands on to commit crimes. Banning 'assault' weapons will not deter them, even if they can't get a deer rifle they'll find an ax or a hammer.
A trained LEO GG arriving with a handgun saved lives (Anyone seen any reports yet on how long the response time was?).
An armed CHL holder already on scene would have saved even more lives (provided he/she had practiced and prepared for such an eventuality).

And my final point: I'm preaching to the choir again... :tiphat:
