I have a Springfield XD9 and this Beretta was nice!
I like the manual safety, the da/sa trigger. sights easy to use.
And most of all the recoil half as much as my XD9! Nice.

This a textbook case of "to each his own" :)
I can't stand the Beretta's, however they are very well made.
Glad you enjoyed it

The Beretta is a big firearm; all steel. There is nearly zero felt recoil.
The 2 different trigger pulls makes rapid, accurate shots from the holster more difficult than from the XD.
I carried a Beretta for 4 years as a LEO, and 11 years after that. I love it, but I would carry an XD today before I would a 92.
YMMV

This is a big step because I've heard you refer to the XD as "tupperwear"
I agree though, XD over Beretta for sure.

I think that was the Glock, dishwasher AND microwave safe
Although if the person I was harassing was carrying an XD, I probably DID refer to it as tupperware. Gunstore humor and all. lol

Let me be serious here. A selection in weapon is VERY subjective. I appreciate your trust, but I would not suggest a handgun for anyone. I would steer you away from a junk weapon, but none you have listed are junk.
The Sigs do not fit my hand well, but that means nothing for you. The CZ slide is too short for me. Again, how do YOU like it.
I would try to shoot each gun next to each other, and pick the one I like best. I think whichever one you like best, it will serve you well.
Sorry I can't help more. Let me know if you have any other questions.

you need to install a DAO hammer spring. it'll lighten the trigger pull in both DA/SA. makes a huge difference for about $2.

the frames are aluminum. drop one on the tang and it will make a dent.

Aluminum alloy, you are correct. I have gotten into the bad habit of calling anything not polymer, steel. Thanks for keeping me honest. ;)
