They shall not grow old,
As we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them,
Nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun,
And in the morning,
We Will Remember Them

I have 5 cousins that served in WWII (all my mother's nephews). 4 came back, but I was told that 2 of the 4 returning were never the same. All were so much older than me that I never really knew even the ones that returned.
My mother's family paid a high price for freedom, covering both the Pacific Islands and Europe. I pay homage today to my 5 cousins and the rest of the young men and women that fought in WWII and all the other battles that have taken place in the name of freedom.

+1 God bless all of you who have family and friends serving. I've had a few friends recently return safe. And that is a great pic of the flag. I just set it as my desktop.
