A local community college whose main campus is in a neighboring city has a small branch in my town. The branch is in a shopping strip and houses their cosmotology (hair & nail) classes and a small gym. I'm a member of the gym.
I noticed a sign on the door that says not to carry in the building, and references the fact that it is a school (I'll re-post later with the exact working).
Since I'm using the gym and not the classes, do I have to abide by it & leave my gun in my car? Or can I leave my gun in my gym bag & go in?

You will get final words from txinvestagator & Charles. I think you are going to get the same basic hair splitting circle that has been over churches that have a school in them. Is it the school if I am only going to church or is it the church where I can carry?
Is this going to be the gym since that is all I will be using or is it the school because an anti wants it to be. Then the Q. Do you want to be the test case? When you are old like I are you don't have to worry bout a few uf the places like that.
