CA: SAF et al. file lawsuits against "may issue" RTC

The Second Amendment Foundation, the Calguns Foundation, and three California residents filed a lawsuit Tuesday challenging county sheriffs who refuse to issue concealed handgun licenses to ordinary citizens.
The plaintiffs' attorney is Alan Gura, who successfully prosecuted Heller.

This has equal-protection written all over it. May-issue schemes were set up so that the chief LEO could hand out licenses to his relatives, buddies, and other politically connected people, and make sure that rednecks, Negroes, and Mexicans didn't have them.
