OK.. This is over-planning.. but I was hoping a few of you kind gents could suggest an attny in case I ever found myself needing one.. Example.. Bad guy breaks in my house, I have to shoot, cops are there... Classes say to ask to speak to an attny.. but I've been a goodie goodie my entire life and never found myself needing a criminal attny.. Are there any suggestions (NRA website referrals etc)..

thanks guys..

in my class we had a rep from pre-paid legal talking to us ...giving advise and such. he said they have a dept set up for just what you are talking about. i have his card if you want the number. basically its a small annual fee .not just CHL, but all different kinds of legal issues.taxes, ect

I too have never needed a lawyer for anything. I was contemplating singing up for this once I get my CHL and actually start to carry:

My wife and I both applied for our CHls so we would go for the family discount.

I've always been a "get what you pay for" believer.. So Im ok with the best Lawyer money can buy... I just want to find out who that is.. In my divorce I went with a cheaper attny - and got nailed.. 3 years later I shelled out some big bucks and got the kiddo... (better lawyer = more money) .. My Dad once accidently took a gun into an airport (when I was about 10 or so) - spent a few hours in airport jail - spent 10k on a lawyer and charges dropped..
