I will be at the Gun Show at Reliant on Sat. Be there at open or pretty soon there after. Get to RIDE & dont have to drive.
Will have to leave by 3:30 to get back for a home school graduation.
Anyone else gonna be there.

I will be there Saturday opening also. I am actually riding too and bringing my girlfriend, Mom, and Dad. My Dad is going with a pocket full of cash to buy an HK P30. He has done all his shopping and hopes to get a decent price on one at the show. I have a Beretta PX4 that I would not mind parting ways with, so I am going to take it up there in hopes to sell or trade for something that I fancy maybe. I am keeping my hand in my pockets and am going to try not to be tempted to buy anything UNLESS I sell my PX4.

I'll be there.

Lookin for a few specifics, hopefully will be able to find a Kimber Ultra Carry and/or CDP II to play with.
Would like something a teeny bit smaller/lighter then my Colt Fullsize for daily carry.

Talked a couple of co-workers in to going with me as well.
In the past 6 months I've gotten 4 or 5 co-workers interested in defending themselves, and expressing their rights, and 2 have purchased their first handguns :) One even took the CHL Class with me.

Perhaps if enough people from here are going, we could meet up somewhere for discussion and deal/ripoff reporting of various vendors around the show we've seen.

I'm a-thinkin' on it but the cover charge and overpriced parking may keep me away.

There is metered parking on the other side of a parking garage located on the west side of the GRB, so if you know about how long you'll be there(couple/few hours) you can park there at a reasonable rate(few bucks vs. $10-15 or whatever it is). A little bit of a walk, but you're going to walk at the show anyway and there aren't a lot of spaces, but...

Thanks for the suggestion but this weekend is at Reliant (Astrodome) not downtown.

Definitely a good suggestion for GRB. Also the street/meter parking may be free Sundays.

Sorry, I'm so used to GRB, I glazed right over that.

Use that info. for next time. :D

Last time I attended a show at Reliant there was a football game the same day and ALL of the on site parking was given to tailgaters. We had to park in some near, but not close park-n-ride lots and get shuttled over there, then wait for another bus when you were ready to leave. They also had a jewelry show in another section of the Reliant center and the mix of people on the shuttle buses going to the gun show and gem show was priceless. The looks on the faces of the ladies returning to the parking lot was even better. They had small plastic bags with gems and beads in them and then bunches of guys with rifles and cases of ammo. Great comical mix to be honest.

I will be going, I have arranged a car pool to split the parking. Plan on being there when the doors open.
