let me know what you think about this carry method if you get one. I like what I see in principle but don't know how actually practical they are. Been thinking about trying one of these myself.

I'll loan you mine if you promise to NEVER return it. Seriously, I'll be happy to let you try it, but I keep it only to show students what not to get. It's the worst thing I've ever bought related to guns.
Chas.

Yeah, I was given one by a good friend and it felt like I was wearing a dinner plate in my pants!! LOL I couldn't draw from it very well either. He didn't want it back, so I pawned it off....er, uh donated it to another sucker.. er, CHL.

I think I have one around here somewhere. If I can find it, you're welcome to it. Let me look around and see if I can find it.

My pagerpal wasn't any worse than smartcarry or other below the belt carry methods. I'd offer mine but it got lost in a holster box years ago.

I was at Cabella's on 35 a few weeks ago. I was talking to a fella that worked there (in the gun dept.) about good holsters (price not an issue) for carry/concealment. He said in his opinion the pager pal is the best thing to hit the holster market ever. Glad I didn't purchase one. Looks like they are NOT the best thing ever.

Sounds like Cabella's had too many in stock!

I've never seen one at Cabelas.
I check them regularly for new CCW holsters.
So far I haven't even found a wallet holster.

They don't sell them at Cabella's (sorry for the confusion). The guy gave me the website and the guy to talk to. I looked it up and wasn't totally sold on it. Hence the decision on the Crossbreed.

There was a booth at this years NRA annual meeting that was doing what I considered the old bait and switch. They had a back wall loaded with nice looking leather holsters and two racks of nice leather belts.
When I got close, all I heard was how great the pager-pal was and two high pressure sales reps showing how it was the universal solution to all your holster needs. The turnoff was immediate, especially after I managed to get the attention of a third rep and asked about one of the belts. I was told to come back when they weren't as crowded and I could try one on.
Sure! Somehow, I managed to not remember to take him up on his offer.
This is the second time I've had the pleasure of talking with their sales people. Neither instance was memorable in a good way.

Already the one I got from K-man ( & I thank you for it again) is not the quality leather that the man at the gun show had. Not the length of reach from holster to the spot where the cell phole goes on either.
What they are selling is not what I saw at the gun show.

Ok, I will confess, I was one of those that did fall for the "high pressure sales reps showing how it was the universal solution to all your holster needs."
$80 down the drain...........
Wish I would have found this forum earlier!
