Change of address // time limit

Anyone besides me, wondering about the 30 day time limit to report a change of address ?
My concerns are as followed:
DPS driver license agent finished my paper, three and a half weeks ago. Stated that my license would be in about Two Weeks.
I did call CHL Licensing and asked what I needed to send in. A change from Non - Resident to Resident
(( A Real Texan !! )) and give them my new permanent address.
CHL clerk stated, Two copies of your Texas photo lic. and the change of address form .... But....
Have ya' heard about the DPS computer glitz and the delays with issuing Texas Driver / ID licenses ??
Think CHL / DPS will work with the delays ?

If they squawk I'd kindly remind them that Texas DPS doesn't seem overly concerned with time limits at present, particularly those regarding CHL.
I hope you documented what and when you've done everything. I'm not very well versed in what to do about suspended licenses, but I believe you can appeal them.
Welcome to Texas.

Drewthetexan & Ya' all !!!
Well, after my complaining about the DPS / Texas Driver lic. bureau last night, I found it in the mail today !!!
So ... it took them three and a half weeks , not two. ( What was my problem ?? )
Got the CR-70 (change of add.) form and the photo copies of my new Texas driver lic. in the mail to CHL bureau just now.
That 30 day time limit to notifiy them had me worried, But no longer !
I'm a happy camper now and proud to finally be, a real Texan !!
Thanks for listening and thanks for being here.
